Based on the Wisbech and Upwell tramway in 1963 and a

mooted extension that was never built…until now!

Bedford Road

O Finescale

A small yard & traction maintenance depot somewhere in the

East Midlands set in the late 1980’s

Butley Quay

Butley Quay is a small through station on the imaginary narrow

gauge East Suffolk Light Railway from Melton to Orford around

the 1950’s

Hawkesden Road

N

A simple branch line with a through station and usual goods

facilities. built by St Neots MRC

Hardwick Road

N

A country station surrounded by a variety of light industries

including a metal scrap yard. The station is serviced by two

platforms with a passing loop.

Ramsey

OO (4mm)

An imagining of how the line through Ramsey would have

looked had it seen construction in 1860 but displayed in the

period around the 1950’s

Grange West

A single track line and goods yard of the Grange West cross

country route. also including the Thurnall branch that runs

parallel to the main line

East Sternham

OO (4mm)

A terminus station on a branch line from the Liverpool Lime

Street to Norwich main line in East Anglia set in the modern

image era.

Jiggerful Junction

A typical ‘Train set’ Layout using 1950’s and 60’s Hornby Dublo

3-rail tin plate and die cast loco’s

Eigh Bay Halt

7mm finescale

A fictional Midland Railway micro branch at the start of the

Great War

Chica, Illinios

HO (3.5mm)

A fictional Southern Illinios small town set in the 1950’s on one

of the many prairie branch lines built by the Rock Island Lines in

the better times. A standard gauge with a narrow gauge feel.

Lambton & Verdane Regis Tramway Co

Loosely based on a tramway in Lincolnshire that connected

Alford and Sutton set in the late 19th early 20th century

Warren Hill

O (7mm)

A small Eastern Counties railway station under British Railways

auspices circa 1948/62

Jernies End

HO (3.5mm)

An American switching layout built by a KLMRC club member

designed for problem solving. Audience participation welcome!

Obervaz

HOm (12mm)

A fictitious layout based on the operations of the Rhatische

Bahn, the largest narrow gauge railway operator in Switzerland

Lower Tyldsley

Set in a fictitious coal mining location in the Derbyshire Peak

District at time BR was closing branch lines in the early 60’s

A small layout based around a branch terminus station and

light industry circa 1950’s to 60’s
