It’s not always serious at the club. We had a couple of special visitors the other week at our club, all the way from the Island of Sodor. Gordon and James came to visit to pull some charter services round our club layout. Some troublesome trucks arrived too, but were far too troublesome, so were left in the sidings.
Sometimes, we all get so wrapped up in the intricate details of our modelling, striving to prefect our little worlds that we sometimes forget what might have brought us into the hobby. I was introduced into the world of model railways through Thomas, and so these models give me that wonderful link between what I can do now, and how it all started.
