On Sat 18th February we opened our doors to the public so they could come and see what we’ve been getting up to and hopefully acquire some new members who wish to share their hobby with us.
it was a busy day with some of the members bringing in their own layouts from home(those that would fit in cars) and stalls in the village hall selling puzzles cards and cakes. whilst upstairs the n gauge layout finally after many months of wiring had a running loop working and the DCC layout as ever put on a fantastic show with some fantastic locos doing what they do best. The DC layout and exhibition layout (both in stages of construction) got a lot of work done too.
We are thankful to the village hall for opening up for us and for everyone that did attend, for coming to see us. Hopefully we’ll see you all at the exhibition in June.
